1. Our goal is to facilitate free Wireless Public Broadband (WPB) throughout the United States, built and funded by the creative spirit of local communities and entrepreneurs.
2. To accomplish this, we need to transfer the power of the Internet from centrally controlled networks back to the local users themselves -- letting their Internet usage fund the cost of connectivity through the power and efficiency of targeted user designated advertising services.
3.A key to making this happen quickly and economically is to use open standards -- allowing interoperability of existing equipment and platforms, with necessary software downloads freely available through the Internet itself.
4. We will encourage technological innovations to be introduced quickly by creative inventors. This will lead to the increasing the performance, efficiency and productivity of the WPB system.
5. We will not undertake censorship responsibility and we believe that behavior and security should be governed by the users. However, we will alert users of the tools to enable their desired level of access and security.
